Trump announced a 10% tariff on goods from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland would come into force on 1 February, but could later rise to 25% if Greenland isn't sold to the U.S. The European Union is in talks to potentially impose tariffs on €93 billion of US goods if US President Donald Trump follows through on his threat to hit European countries with a 10% levy on February 1.
